Creative Community Services

Our Story

Founded in 1982 by Sally Buchanan, Creative Community Services is dedicated to helping adults with developmental disabilities achieve independence. In 1988, the organization expanded its mission to support Georgia's most vulnerable children, becoming the first agency in the state to provide Therapeutic Foster Care. Over the years, CCS has developed impactful programs such as the Adventure Youth Program, Teen Parent Connection, and SOAR, all aimed at fostering independence and stability.

Impact

Each year, Creative Community Services serves approximately 77 foster children with complex needs, 50 adults with developmental disabilities, and 40 teen parents in foster care, significantly improving their lives and those of their families.
