Our Story

The Creative Arts Center of Dallas, founded in 1966 by renowned artist Octavio Medellin, has been a beacon of artistic education in the Oak Cliff neighborhood. Over the decades, CAC has transformed and adapted, now residing in a historic elementary school in East Dallas, where it continues to inspire and educate a diverse community of artists.

Impact

Last year, CAC engaged 1,500 students through over 500 classes and workshops, providing vital outreach programs for underserved communities, including job skills training and arts instruction for at-risk teens.

Why Donate?
