Our Story

Create Now, founded in 1996, began as Write Now! with a mission to teach literacy through creative writing. This nonprofit organization nurtures the talents of young artists aged 3-24 through a volunteer-led arts mentorship program, connecting them with experienced art professionals. By organizing events such as arts festivals, talent shows, and mural projects, Create Now provides enriching creative experiences for students, their families, and the Los Angeles community.
