Our Story

In 2020, amidst the challenges of a global pandemic, award-winning educator Nikki Duslak founded CREATE Conservatory in central Florida. This micro-school focuses on STEM education through arts integration, catering specifically to gifted and creative students. Since its inception, CREATE has transformed the educational landscape for its students, fostering confidence and academic excellence. After two years of renting space, the school proudly moved to its permanent home in Mount Dora in January 2023, where it continues to thrive and grow.

Impact

CREATE students are achieving remarkable academic success, with an 83% proficiency score in math and a 76% proficiency score in reading, significantly higher than state averages. Each year, students demonstrate an average of three years of growth in every subject area, including those with special needs.
