Crazy Love Africa

Our Story

Crazy Love Africa was founded in 2014 by the Wiederholt family after adopting four children orphaned by AIDS. Witnessing the struggles of mothers living with HIV in Africa ignited a passion to empower these women. What began as a small initiative to support a few women has blossomed into a movement that strengthens entire communities. Through safe cooperatives, training, and skill development, Crazy Love Africa sisters are now leaders in their villages, transforming lives and uplifting families.

By focusing on education, community support, and sustainable job creation, the organization not only uplifts these women but also positively impacts the children in their care. Together, as global sisters, they address inequality and strengthen families, ensuring that every woman receives the respect and love she deserves.
