CR HOPE Foundation

Our Story

CR HOPE Foundation was co-founded by Cosiano Ismaili Mbise and Renos Fountoulakis, inspired by a chance encounter that revealed the struggles of local children in Zanzibar. Cosiano, once a souvenir seller, received support from a tourist to improve his English, which led him to a better job and the vision to build a school for local children. In January 2020, the Seeds of Light school opened its doors, providing free education to children in Kizimkazi, Zanzibar.

Impact

Currently, CR HOPE Foundation educates 115 children aged 3 to 10 years, aiming to create a lasting positive impact on their lives and the future of their community.
