In the late 1990s, a dedicated medical doctor and a compassionate pastor joined forces to address the pressing healthcare needs of uninsured individuals in southwest Detroit. This collaboration led to the establishment of Covenant Community Care in January 2000 as a free health clinic. Over the years, Covenant has transformed into a Federally Qualified Health Center, expanding its services and locations to better serve the Metro Detroit community.
Covenant Community Care serves over 20,000 individuals annually, providing integrated healthcare services regardless of their ability to pay.
