Founded in 1987 by Artistic Director Marla Hirokawa, Covenant Ballet Theatre of Brooklyn has been a cornerstone of the arts in southern Brooklyn. Originally located in Sheepshead Bay, CBT has evolved through various neighborhoods, finally settling in Gravesend in 2017. The organization is dedicated to providing performance opportunities that go beyond traditional recitals, featuring original narrative ballets that inspire creativity and passion for dance.
