Advocacy For Abused And Neglected Children
Providing Safe And Permanent Homes

Our Story

In 1976, a visionary judge in Seattle recognized the urgent need for advocacy in the lives of dependent children. This led to the creation of a program that would train community volunteers to represent the best interests of children facing abuse and neglect. In 1992, CASA of Southeast Texas was established, fueled by a generous donation from the YMBL and the commitment of local leaders. Today, CASA has evolved into a vital part of the family court system, supported by a dedicated team of ten staff members and over 150 passionate volunteers.
