Our Story

Since 1997, Counseling4Kids has been dedicated to creating a world where every child has the support they need to thrive. Founded to provide essential mental health services to children in Los Angeles County’s Foster Care system, the organization began with just eight therapists serving 25 clients. By pioneering a clinic-without-walls model, Counseling4Kids brings compassionate care directly into the homes of those who need it most.

Today, Counseling4Kids supports over 700 clients annually, delivering 22,000 evidence-based therapeutic service hours across Southern California. This ensures widespread access to quality care for children facing mental health challenges.
