Our Story

The Council of Irish Associations of Greater Bergen County was established nearly 30 years ago to unite various Irish organizations in Bergen County. Since its inception in 1980, the Council has been dedicated to celebrating Irish culture through events like the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Impact

Since 1982, the Council has successfully organized the Bergen County St. Patrick's Day Parade and established the Great Hunger Memorial, honoring those lost during the Irish famine.
