Cougar Cookers was established to support the University of Houston and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. This 501(c)(3) organization, backed by alumni and friends, participates in the Rodeo Cook-Off to express gratitude for the contributions made to higher education by the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Impact

Through its initiatives, Cougar Cookers awards two one-year scholarships of $3,000 each to student leaders dedicated to the Frontier Fiesta Association, fostering leadership and community engagement.
