Our Story

Corvallis Waldorf School began in 1993, nurtured by a group of dedicated parents in Corvallis. Initially hosted in a community church, the school expanded to offer a full curriculum across multiple grades, eventually moving to the Fairplay Elementary building in the Corvallis School District. This independent, not-for-profit educational organization embraces the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, fostering a unique learning environment.

Our Impact

Corvallis Waldorf School is dedicated to educating students about the Kalapuya's rich history and culture. Through primary sources, guest teachers, and field trips to the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, students gain invaluable insights into traditional ecological knowledge and Indigenous practices.
