About Corvallis Sister City Association

The Corvallis Sister City Association (CSCA) fosters a meaningful partnership between the community of Corvallis, Oregon, and Gondar, Ethiopia. This initiative began with Robel Tadesse, a staff member with Ethiopian heritage, who envisioned a collaboration that would enhance cultural understanding and address critical needs in Gondar. Since the establishment of this sister city relationship in 2005, dedicated volunteers have traveled to Gondar, working tirelessly to implement sustainable solutions.

Through ongoing projects, the CSCA collaborates with the people of Gondar to improve access to clean water, enhance educational opportunities, and promote cultural awareness.
