Cornerstone Foundation

Our Story

The Cornerstone Foundation was established in 1992 by Dr. Jeff and Rosanne McKenney to address the urgent need for accessible medical care on the Caribbean coast of Honduras. After witnessing the lack of Christian organizations dedicated to meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of the people in Colon, they founded the Cornerstone Foundation. This led to the opening of Hospital Loma de Luz in 2003, along with a bilingual school and a children's center, transforming lives in the community.

Impact

Hospital Loma de Luz serves approximately 25,000 patients annually, providing essential medical services and acting as a hub for outreach ministries focused on education and community development.
