Our Story

Founded in 1813, Cornerstone Family Programs has a rich history of supporting the poor in Morristown, particularly families affected by the War of 1812. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services to include social work, family support, and various human services. The Morristown Neighborhood House, established in 1898, emerged from the Settlement House Movement, advocating for social justice and racial equality. In 2013, these two organizations merged to enhance community support, focusing on underserved and immigrant families while extending services to neighboring communities like Dover.

Impact

Cornerstone Family Programs and Morristown Neighborhood House foster long-term change in educational success, economic mobility, health and wellness, and community connections.
