Our Story

Cornerstone Community Housing (CCH) was founded in 1993 by Rev. Eugene Bartell and dedicated volunteers at The Supper Club, inspired by the stories of individuals like Earl Johnson. Recognizing the urgent need for food and shelter, CCH opened Earl’s Place in 1997, a transitional housing program in Baltimore City. Today, CCH operates Earl’s Place and Prospect Place in Baltimore County, focusing on empowering men to rebuild their lives while fostering community understanding of homelessness through outreach and education.

Impact

Each year, Cornerstone Community Housing supports 30-35 men experiencing homelessness, guiding them towards stability and self-sufficiency.
