Cornerstone Academy

Our Story

Cornerstone Academy opened its doors in 1994 in the Chicago Austin neighborhood, addressing the alarming 70% high school dropout rate. In 2000, the Academy relocated to the Cornerstone Center on the Near North Side, collaborating with other nonprofits to enhance student support. After 21 years, the school returned to its roots in Oak Park, establishing a centralized location to serve both city and near-West side students. The mission is to offer personalized attention and a supportive Christian education, guiding students toward high school diplomas and self-sufficiency.

Why Donate?
