Discover the Beauty of the Erie Canal and Genesee River

Founded in 1991, Corn Hill Navigation operates two tour vessels that navigate the historic Erie Canal and Genesee River from Schoen Place in Pittsford. These cruises offer a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages to engage in experiential learning about the region's rich history, culture, and biodiversity. Over the years, hundreds of thousands of visitors from all 50 states and over 50 countries have embarked on this journey, including tens of thousands of students from local schools.

Making an Impact

In 2019 alone, more than 15,000 passengers experienced the beauty of the Canal and River aboard the Sam Patch, with 2,300 of those being students. This growth in ridership, which has increased by 40% over the past decade, highlights the importance of preserving these waterways for future generations.
