Our Story

In October 2005, Matthew Davies experienced a life-altering C6 spinal cord injury from a car accident, leading to paralysis. After years of therapy, Matthew and his wife Melodie recognized the need for a rigorous activity-based training program to enhance recovery. In 2011, they founded the CORE Foundation to provide essential financial support and education for individuals with spinal cord injuries and other neurological conditions.

Impact

Since its inception, the CORE Foundation has made a significant impact, sponsoring scholarships that provided 384 hours of activity-based training in 2012. By 2022, this number soared to over 3,000 hours, transforming lives and fostering independence.
