Founded in 1995, Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital is a volunteer-driven organization committed to the care of South Florida's wildlife. With a mission to educate the public about the region's unique environment, SNC promotes healthy living and outdoor activities while providing excellent care for sick, injured, or orphaned native wildlife.

Each year, SNC treats approximately 800 animals and educates around 7,000 students, making a significant impact on wildlife rehabilitation and public awareness. Volunteers contribute around 14,000 hours annually, showcasing the community's dedication to wildlife conservation.
