Our Story

Founded in 1972 in response to a tragic child abuse-related death, Cope Family Center began as a grassroots organization dedicated to child abuse prevention and awareness. Under the leadership of founder Linda Thomas, a group of passionate volunteers envisioned a future where all children in Napa grow up in safe, nurturing homes. Today, Cope has transformed into a comprehensive Family Resource Center, serving hundreds of families each year and supporting over 1,000 children.
