Sibling Support for Children with Cancer
Funding Pediatric Cancer Research

Our Story

Founded in 2009 by Rod and Missy Cook, the Cooper Trooper Foundation emerged from a personal journey when their youngest son, Cooper, was diagnosed with a rare cancer as an infant. Witnessing the emotional toll on Cooper's older brothers, Carson and Colby, the Cooks recognized a critical need for support tailored to siblings of children facing cancer. This realization led to the creation of the Courage Kit program, designed to celebrate the strength of these siblings while providing essential education and emotional support.

Our Impact

The Cooper Trooper Foundation is dedicated to enhancing family treatment by distributing Courage Kits that address the emotional needs of well siblings. Additionally, the foundation supports pediatric cancer research through its Endowed Fund at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital, striving to increase awareness and funding for childhood cancer research.
