Our Story

First Tee – Tucson was established in 2006 through the dedicated efforts of the Tucson Conquistadores, a civic group with a rich history dating back to 1962. Partnering with the PGA TOUR and the City of Tucson, the Conquistadores brought the First Tee program to the Trini-Alvarez El Rio Golf Course, aiming to recruit children from all backgrounds, especially those underserved. This initiative has raised millions for youth athletic programs in Southern Arizona, fostering a long-standing tradition of junior golf.
