In 2005, JoAnn's son Ryan suffered a traumatic brain injury from a ski accident. After receiving special services in high school, the search for a similar program became a challenge as he aged out at 21. This inspired JoAnn to unite concerned parents and professionals to create a quality, all-inclusive day program for adults with disabilities. After years of dedication, Connecting Point opened its doors on June 24, 2014.
Connecting Point of Park Cities offers a community-based day program that helps individuals develop essential skills in communication, daily living, pre-vocational training, and socialization.
