Originally known as the Connecticut Violence Intervention Program, CTVIP has evolved to address community violence and systemic issues faced by at-risk youth. By building strong relationships and providing essential support, CTVIP is committed to transforming lives in the Greater New Haven area.
Through strategic partnerships with the New Haven Police Department and community organizations, CTVIP has achieved remarkable results, including a 3% reduction in firearm robberies and a 33% decrease in gunshot victims. These efforts have significantly contributed to a safer community for all residents.
