Our Story

In 1985, dedicated members of the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association established a committee to create a lasting tribute to the brave officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the citizens of Connecticut. After four years of tireless fundraising, the Connecticut Law Enforcement Memorial was dedicated in October 1989 at the Connecticut Police Academy in Meriden. This memorial stands as a solemn reminder of the courage and dedication of law enforcement officers.
