Our Story

Founded in March 2009 by Meghan Tarby Slekis, Connecticut Partnership for Children, Inc. began as a grassroots initiative with the Valley Diaper Bank, the first of its kind in the Connecticut Valley Region. Over the years, CTPFC has expanded its reach, now offering six full-time programs that serve families across Connecticut, particularly those living at or below 185 percent of the poverty line.

Our Impact

Each year, CTPFC distributes 15,000 diapers, provides 100 winter coats, donates 2,510 school supplies, and visits 150 families through its Mobile Food Pantry.
