Founded in 1998 by Bob Savage, Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery Inc (CCAR) began with a mission to answer two pivotal questions: How can recovery be supported today? And can the recovery community be organized? Over the years, CCAR has transformed from an advocacy-focused organization to a leader in providing essential recovery support services, making a significant impact both locally and nationally.
