About Connecticut Choral Society

The Connecticut Choral Society, established in 1980, is a dedicated ensemble of auditioned singers committed to providing a music resource for Connecticut. With a rich history that began with fewer than 30 attendees at its first rehearsal, CCS has grown into a renowned chorus of over 75 singers from more than 20 towns. The society has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and has toured internationally, yet remains focused on delivering beautiful and inspiring performances to local audiences.

Impact Through Music

CCS is recognized for its impactful outreach through benefit concerts, supporting various non-profit organizations. Special performances have raised funds for Toys for Tots, Ronald McDonald House, and many others, including a free healing concert in Newtown, demonstrating the power of music to uplift and support the community.

Why Donate?

As a non-profit organization, CCS relies on ticket sales, singer participation fees, and generous donations from patrons and sponsors to continue its mission. Every contribution, whether cash or cryptocurrency, is vital in sustaining the high-quality performances and community outreach efforts. Your support helps keep the music alive!
