Our Story

Founded in 2005, Connect Africa is dedicated to empowering families in Uganda, particularly women, who aspire for education but face financial barriers. Starting from a few villages, the organization has expanded its reach to over 50 villages, providing not just academic education but also vocational training, microloans, and business management support. By collaborating closely with local communities, Connect Africa ensures that the needs of Ugandans are met, fostering a strong connection between donors and recipients.

Impact

With over 284 loans awarded, Connect Africa has positively impacted more than 3,000 family members. The Vocational Institute, opened in 2018, focuses on equipping young women with essential job skills, paving the way for a brighter future.
