Our Story
In the late 1960s, the vibrant 3rd of July Firework displays on Conesus Lake were a cherished tradition, organized by The Conesus Lake Association. However, rising costs led to a 20-year hiatus from these spectacular shows. In a remarkable effort to revive this beloved event, three dedicated lake residents, Bud West and Dave Pietrowski, rallied their neighbors and friends, discovering overwhelming support to bring back the 'big show'. Today, Conesus Fest for Charity coordinates this event, funded entirely by local residents and their friends, making it one of the largest fireworks displays in Upstate New York. Professional pyro technicians ensure a safe and breathtaking experience for all attendees.
