Our Story
The journey of Conestoga Valley Christian Community Services (CVCCS) began with a man seeking shelter from the harsh Pennsylvania winter. This pivotal moment revealed the pressing issues of homelessness and poverty in the community. In 2010, local church leaders formed CVCCS to address these challenges, starting with food and clothing banks at various churches. By 2014, recognizing the need for a centralized approach, CVCCS established its home in the Lapp Electric Building on Gehman Lane, Lancaster. This one-stop-shop model allows for comprehensive support, fostering self-sufficiency and sustainability for those in need.
