Our Story

Founded in 2009, Concrete Jungle began as a volunteer-run initiative in Atlanta, dedicated to rescuing neglected fruit and distributing it to families in need. What started with a cider press and a group of friends searching for apple trees has blossomed into a mission that rescues over 300,000 pounds of fresh produce annually.

Our Impact

Concrete Jungle has successfully rescued 2.4 million pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables, equating to 9.6 million servings for those facing food insecurity in Georgia.
