Our Story
The Concord Chorus was established in the summer of 1945, ignited by a passionate performance of Brahms' 'Requiem' that brought together the community's choirs. This enthusiasm led to the formation of the Chorus by Nancy Loring, Katherine K. Davis, and Mrs. D. Ripley Gage, who organized the first rehearsal with nearly 125 townspeople. Today, the Chorus boasts over 110 members from Concord and surrounding areas, dedicated to presenting high-quality performances of diverse musical works.
