Our Story
Concerned Citizens Network of Alexandria was founded in response to a 2009 Washington Post article highlighting T.C. Williams High School as one of Virginia's lowest performing schools. This initiative aims to empower the community to tackle issues of educational equity, social justice, and health, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Impact
CCNA's programs, such as RARE and Parent Engagement Workshops, have significantly boosted parent involvement in education and improved student academic performance, fostering a culture of advocacy for social justice and health equity.
