Our Story

Concerned Black Men of Massachusetts was founded in 1989 by a dedicated group of Black men committed to addressing the quality of life issues faced by African Americans. The organization emphasizes the importance of Black males in family and community through education, social and cultural principles, and economic interdependence.

Our Impact

For over 30 years, CBMM has transformed the lives of thousands of young men and their families through the Paul Robeson Institute for Positive Self-Development, educating over 1,000 Black and Brown young men in essential life skills and STEAM education.
