Our Story

Founded in 1974 by Scott Luebking and Neil Jacobson in partnership with IBM and the California State Department of Rehabilitation, the Computer Technologies Program (CTP) began as a training initiative for clients of the Berkeley Center for Independent Living. Over the years, it has evolved into a comprehensive vocational training program dedicated to serving the broader disability community.

Impact

Since its inception, CTP has provided over one million hours of training and support to thousands of individuals with disabilities, empowering them to pursue their career aspirations at no cost, thanks to partnerships with the Department of Rehabilitation.
