Our Story
In 1999, a group of passionate traditional bowhunters gathered at the Pope and Young Club Awards Banquet to discuss the formation of a dedicated organization. Inspired by Glenn St. Charles' article in Traditional Bowhunter Magazine, these individuals sought to create a distinct identity for traditional archery enthusiasts. This led to the establishment of Compton Traditional Bowhunters, officially formed on November 29, 1999. The organization is committed to promoting traditional archery, educating the public, and investing in youth programs.
