Founded in 1993 by local pastors and leaders, Compassion Waco emerged to address the urgent needs of the homeless community in Waco, Texas. Incorporated in 1994, the organization began providing essential services, including a resource center for the homeless. Over the years, Compassion Waco has expanded its offerings to include transitional housing, case management, and various support programs aimed at helping families regain stability and self-sufficiency.
