Our Story

Founded in 1995 by Konstantin Yakubenko, Compassion Is Life emerged from a deep concern for orphans in Ukrainian orphanages. The organization has evolved to address the urgent needs of at-risk children, particularly in the wake of the ongoing war in Ukraine. By focusing on psychological support, education, and health care, Compassion Is Life empowers children to become healthy, educated, and productive adults.

Impact

Since February 2022, 96% of all sponsorships and donations have gone directly to support at-risk children in Ukraine. Thousands of children have received essential aid, ensuring their safety and well-being during these challenging times.
