Founded in 1999 by a dedicated group of Christian volunteers from Washington State, Compassion in Action emerged from a heartfelt response to the humanitarian crisis following Hurricane Mitch in Nicaragua. This mission has blossomed into a beacon of hope, establishing the Dario Christian Academy in Ciudad Dario in 2004. With over 380 students enrolled, the Academy offers a nurturing environment where education is intertwined with spiritual growth, guided by thirty passionate teachers.
