Our Story

Established in response to a lack of resources for survivors of sexual violence, COMPASS has been a beacon of hope since the late 1980s. A dedicated task force formed in 1996 led to the creation of a rape crisis center in Tuscarawas County, and through mergers and expansions, COMPASS has continually enhanced its services to better support the community.

Impact

Each year, COMPASS receives over 450 crisis calls and educates more than 4,000 individuals through prevention programs, making a significant difference in the lives of survivors.
