The Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts, Inc. was founded in 1986 as a nonprofit regional support organization for local land trusts on Cape Cod. This organization provides essential technical expertise to preserve critical lands that protect public water supply, scenic views, wildlife habitat, and the unique character of Cape Cod.

Every year, the Compact enables its member land trusts to complete up to forty new land acquisition projects in Barnstable County, significantly contributing to the preservation of Cape Cod's natural resources and enhancing the quality of life for both residents and visitors.
