For over 70 years, CommunityWorx has been a cornerstone of Carrboro and Chapel Hill, originally founded to support art education in local schools. This nonprofit has evolved to address broader community needs, focusing on youth, equity, and opportunity.

Impacting Lives and the Environment

With approximately $10 million donated to local PTAs, over $2 million in clothing provided, and more than $40,000 in grants awarded to under-resourced students, CommunityWorx is making a significant impact. Additionally, over 500 tons of non-sellable items have been recycled, promoting environmental sustainability.
