Community Youth Center of San Francisco
EIN: 94-1728818 · San Francisco, CA
Our Story
Established in 1970, the Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) was created to combat juvenile delinquency and gang violence in Chinatown. Over the years, CYC has expanded its reach, providing vital support to a diverse population of high-need youth, particularly Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) youth.
Impact
CYC serves over 8,000 youth annually, addressing the unique challenges faced by low-income and at-risk communities, including AAPI, Latinx, and African American youth. The organization has continually adapted its programs to meet the evolving needs of the community, especially during crises like the COVID-19 pandemic.
