Community Work & Independence, Inc. (CWI) has been a vital part of the Warren-Washington-Saratoga county region since 1963. Initially founded as Community Workshop, Inc. with just six individuals, CWI has grown to support approximately 1,200 individuals each month across more than 30 locations. The organization provides essential services such as transportation, clinical and dental care, and housing, all aimed at fostering independence and community inclusion.

Making a Significant Impact

With 868 job placements and residential services for nearly 40 individuals, CWI is dedicated to enhancing the lives of those with disabilities. Each day, CWI transports 450 passengers to various facilities, supporting 408 young adults in their transition from high school to adulthood.
