Our Story

Founded in 1974, Community Violence Solutions (CVS) is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to ending sexual assault and family violence. With a strong partnership with the community, CVS has expanded its services across Contra Costa and Marin Counties, providing essential support to those in need.

Impact

Each year, CVS responds to nearly 2000 requests for help through its Rape Crisis Center, offering vital support services to victims of sexual violence and their families. The organization also engages in prevention and outreach efforts to raise awareness and teach risk reduction strategies.
