Community Support Network: A Leader in Supportive Housing
Founded in 1972 by Sonoma State University students, Community Support Network (CSN) has been dedicated to providing supportive housing for individuals facing severe behavioral health challenges. Originally known as Karibu House, CSN has grown to operate 10 homes, serving nearly 200 residents annually. This innovative model allows individuals to recover in a nurturing community environment rather than an institutional setting.
Impacting Lives in Sonoma County
In 2023, CSN achieved remarkable outcomes, with 94% of participants remaining housed and 91% increasing their income, education, or employment. The organization not only transforms lives but also contributes to significant cost savings for the Sonoma County community.
