Community Servants

Our Story

Community Servants began as an outreach mission of Smyrna Assembly in 1994, initiated by Bruce Coble, Missions Pastor. With the support of the Wherry Housing Authority, an apartment was remodeled to assist homeless families in need. Founded on the Biblical mandate to care for the poor, widows, and the fatherless, Community Servants became a nonprofit in 2003. Today, it collaborates with local churches and mission teams to expand its reach and impact in the community.

Impact

Each year, Community Servants serves over 1,800 families and individuals, with more than 20,000 volunteer hours contributed by local citizens and visiting teams. The Adult ESL program represents a diverse array of nations, fostering community and understanding.
